Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Widgeto5 (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Ryan Bijoy (“Developer”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

Eligibility

The App is rated 4+ and is available to users of all ages. By using the App, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, or that a parent or guardian has agreed on your behalf. If you are under the age of 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, such as 16 in parts of the European Union), a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf and supervise your use of the App, including any connection to third-party services.

Description of Service

Widgeto5 is an iOS application that lets you create and customize home screen and lock screen widgets to display data from various sources. The App supports widget categories including Health & Fitness, Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Google Calendar, GitHub, Stripe, Anthropic, App Store Connect, YouTube, Weather, Photos, Quotes, and more. All features require iOS 17 or later.

Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

The App offers optional paid options (together, “Widgeto5 Pro”) to unlock premium features: auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time non-consumable purchase.

Auto-renewable subscriptions. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current price for the selected plan.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• No refunds are provided for the unused portion of a subscription period. Refund requests must be directed to Apple.
• Prices are in the currency of your App Store region and may vary by location. If we materially increase the price of a renewing subscription, Apple will notify you in accordance with its policies, and depending on the jurisdiction you may need to consent to the new price or cancel before renewal.

Lifetime (one-time) purchase. The App may also offer a one-time non-consumable purchase that grants lifetime access to Pro features. By making this purchase, you acknowledge:

• Payment is charged once to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. There is no recurring charge and no auto-renewal.
• “Lifetime” means for the lifetime of the App on platforms where it is offered and for as long as your Apple ID remains in good standing; it does not guarantee that the App or any specific feature, integration, or third-party service will remain available indefinitely.
• As a non-consumable purchase, it is tied to the Apple ID used at purchase and can be restored on your other devices signed in with the same Apple ID using the “Restore Purchases” option in the App.
• Refund requests must be directed to Apple.

Restore Purchases

If you have previously purchased Widgeto5 Pro (whether a subscription or the lifetime purchase), you can restore your entitlement on any device signed in with the same Apple ID by using the “Restore Purchases” option inside the App. The App verifies purchases on-device using signed transaction data provided by Apple’s StoreKit.

Service Availability & Third-Party API Changes

Many features of the App depend on third-party services (for example, Google Calendar, GitHub, Stripe, Anthropic, Apple App Store Connect, YouTube, Yahoo Finance, and CoinGecko). These services may be rate-limited, modified, deprecated, restricted, or discontinued by their providers at any time and without notice, which may cause one or more widgets or features to degrade, stop working, or change behavior. We do not control these services and are not liable for disruptions, data inaccuracies, or changes caused by them. No refunds are owed for feature loss that results from a third-party service change.

Account & API Keys

Certain widgets require you to connect third-party accounts (via OAuth) or provide API keys. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your credentials. The App stores these securely in your device’s Keychain, but you should not share your device with unauthorized users. We are not liable for any unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your credentials or device.

Third-Party Services

The App connects to third-party APIs (including but not limited to Google Calendar, GitHub, Stripe, Anthropic, Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko, Apple App Store Connect, and YouTube) to fetch data at your request. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, completeness, or reliability of data provided by these services. Your use of third-party services through the App is also subject to those services’ own terms of service and privacy policies.

Financial Data Disclaimer

Stock market, cryptocurrency, and other financial data displayed in the App is provided by third-party services for informational purposes only. This data may be delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete. The App does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice. You should not make financial decisions based solely on information displayed in the App. We are not liable for any losses arising from your reliance on financial data shown in the App.

Health Data Disclaimer

Health and fitness data displayed in the App is sourced from Apple HealthKit and is provided for informational and personal wellness purposes only. The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions. We are not responsible for the accuracy of health data or any decisions made based on it.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and code within the App are the property of the Developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party service names, logos, and trademarks (such as GitHub, Google, Stripe, Apple, etc.) are the property of their respective owners. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

User Content

Photos and images you add to widgets are stored locally on your device and remain your property. We do not access, collect, upload, or claim any ownership of your content.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or any part of it.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App or connected services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any data obtained through the App from third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or financial losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the App, reliance on data displayed in the App, or any third-party service disruptions, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Developer from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your misuse of third-party services accessed through the App.

Termination

We reserve the right to update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time without prior notice. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Active subscriptions should be cancelled through your Apple ID settings before deleting the App.

Export Control and Sanctions Compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree not to use or export the App in violation of U.S. export laws, regulations, or other applicable law.

Apple’s Standard EULA

Your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple’s EULA, Apple’s EULA shall take precedence.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
